Stree Aadhar Kendra is a womean's organization formed by women for the women and run by the women with strict adherence to gender just principles.


Infrastructure:

Head Quarters of Stree Aadhar Kendra's are located at Pune and its work area encompasses all of Maharashtra state. SAK has full time 10 persons comprising 2 counsellors, 4 social workers and 4 full time community organizers. Apart from this there are 3 part time lawyers and 5 part time community workers on its rolls. It also has 7 administrative personnel.


It has full-fledged training center and administrative office at Pune besides a training center at village Haregaon near Latur which was constructed after 1993 Marathwada earthquake.
